Golf Tournament Registration – Stroke Play Get ready to showcase your skills in our upcoming Stroke Play Tournament! Whether you’re aiming for the top or just looking to enjoy some friendly competition, this tournament offers a chance to test your game and earn some impressive recognition. Here's everything you need to know: Tournament Format: -Medal (Stroke) Play: Every stroke counts, including penalty strokes. -Ball In Play: The ball must be played as it lies through the green. Balls may be marked, lifted, and cleaned on the green. -No Gimmies: All putts must be holed out. Gimmies are not allowed. -Rules: USGA and Local Rules apply. Winter Rules will not be in effect. -Scorecards: Individual scorecards will be provided. Your playing partner will record your scores. After the round, each scorecard will be verified and signed by both the player and scorekeeper. Eligibility: -All participants must have a current GHIN Handicap. GHIN numbers are required on the entry form. If you do not have a GHIN Handicap, you must establish one by July 8, 2025, to be eligible to participate. Prizes and Recognition: -Club Champion: Awarded to the Petroleum Club of Anchorage member with the lowest gross score. The Club Champion will also receive an exemption for the 2026 Stroke Play Tournament. -Flights: Recognition will be given to two flights: Championship Flight: Based on Gross Scores.
